Application Information

A message from the campus:

Let the College of Coastal Georgia help you chart a course for your future today!

The college is no longer accepting applications for the Fall 2010 semester.  

Applications for the Spring 2011 Semester will open on August 20, 2010.  

 

Items needed to apply for admissions:

  1. Application for admissions
  2. $25 application fee (non-refundable)
  3. Official transcripts from all schools attended.
  4. Official SAT/ACT scores 
  5. Completed Immunization Form


Please review the following steps to make your application process easier:

  1. Apply early!
    It takes time for the Admissions Office to review your educational documents and respond back if additional items or testing are needed. Application deadlines are set approximately 30 days prior to the beginning of each semester. Please review the catalog for detailed admissions requirements and documents needed for each type of student (new freshman, transfer, transient, nondegree seeking).

  2. Send your transcripts
    In general, official copies of transcripts are needed from each school you have attended (this includes GED scores). Transfer students with who have less than 30 semester hours of transferable credit or who have not taken English composition I and college-level math, will need to send their high school transcript.

  3. Immunization records
    All students are required to provide proof of immunizations for measles, mumps, rubella, tetanus (no more than 10 years old), chicken pox, and Hepatitis series for students 18 or under. Click here for an Immunization Form. 

  4. Check the progress
    After you have submitted your admissions application (below) you may check on your status at the admissions page of our website on the following business day.

  5. After you have been admitted, you will be invited to attend an orientation session and register for classes early. Check the website, www.ccga.edu for specific dates and to register.

  6. DO NOT use this application if you are a returning student.  An on-line Application for Readmission is available on the Student Records web page.

Instructions

To complete this online application, type your answers in the corresponding fields or select your answers from the popup lists (where applicable).

After you complete a screen, click the NEXT button at the bottom or on one of the sections listed on the left column to move to a different screen. Before you are allowed to jump screens, we will inspect your data on the current screen for errors or inconsistencies. If errors or omissions are found, you will be returned to the screen to correct your answer(s). Otherwise, your data will be saved and you will proceed to the requested screen. We also allow you to skip to another screen without your new data being saved. Be aware that if you use the Skip & Jump function on the left column, data on the current screen will not be saved and will have to be reentered prior to submittal.

Once you have completed the application, click the SUBMIT button located on the left column to submit the application.
