Academic Common Market/Electronic Campus Program

The Academic Common Market has for years allowed students to participate in academic programs in other SREB states while paying in-state tuition when that program is not available in the student's home state. The advent of the Electronic Campus has made the Academic Common Market an even more powerful tool for making higher education available to adult students through e-learning.

As a resident of one of the 16 SREB member states, degree programs are available to you through the Academic Common Market/Electronic Campus Program, provided you meet the following criteria:

  • No institution in your home state offers your chosen field of study;
  • The field of study is offered at an institution in another SREB state through the Electronic Campus;
  • You meet the admission requirements of that institution; and,
  • You meet the requirements to be a certified resident in your home state.

To participate, you must be certified as a state resident by your state's Academic Common Market state coordinator.

You can learn more about the Academic Common Market/Electronic Campus Program, including what programs are available to you and how to participate.
