Before taking a course, use the Electronic Campus to search for possible online courses of interest. Just enter a "keyword" descriptor (e.g. American History or American Literature) to see what courses are available. Learn more about the course by following the course links. Then take a "campus tour" to acquire more information about the institutions offering the courses of interest to you. Be sure to check any pre-requisites for advanced level or graduate courses where introductory preparation is important to your success in the course (particularly for courses in the languages, math, and science and technical areas). Learn more about registration procedures and if the institution offers any special arrangements for older students. Some colleges and universities allow you to "audit" (you won't earn credit or a formal grade but participate as any student in the course activity) or earn college credit, at reduced or no cost.
Finally, if you postponed completing an undergraduate or graduate degree but always wanted to, there is no time better than now. If you need to take an entrance exam, we have information available to help get you started.
If you have previously earned college credits, review the Credit Transfer information available on the Electronic Campus, visit and select your college or university of choice, and make your application online, all from the Electronic Campus website.
